The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
Since I came back from Mass, time appears to be moving at an amazing rate. It seems no sooner do I get home from work (and errands), help make dinner, eat, and settle in to talk online and read for a little bit that it's time to go to sleep, wake up and do it all over again. Yikes! And I thought last semester went by quickly.
Work is, well...work. I just overheard one of the girls who works here ask if the UK was also Briton. (sigh). It's pretty mindless and I need to get off my ass and find something better. I'm going to Raleigh this weekend, which I'm really looking forward to, and one of my old friends from highschool emailed me yesterday to say we should go out to dinner. Yay! I can't wait to get myself a social life again. I've missed Lisa and Christine, so seeing them again will be very fun.
It feels wierd to be back at my Dad's. It's always noisy there, and so chaotic! I'm still in the basement, but that's going to change tonight...I'm taking over Katie's room!! I'm still hoping to have mind back by the end of Jan, but since Olivia is sick, Nick and Phuong may be staying longer. I want my room back, damnit.
Goals for tonight: Move into Katie's room (switch sheets, bring at least 1/2 of my crap up), finish playing w/ resume.
