So the room must listen to me filibuster vigilantly....

    I love TMBG.

I've been doing much more interesting work the past couple days, which has me thrilled. I've been actually working on the website, putting together a set of Valentine's day collections, and today I started playing with a helmet line. Sometime this week or next I'm going to be working w/ Excell playing w/ spreadsheets and charts. Wahoo!
I opened up a new checking account today at wacovia...oh, was that ever an ordeal. I should have known to walk out when I had to wait for 10 minutes while this redneck hick of a lady discussed her life problems w/ the new accounts specialist (apparently also the only woman who could help me). Now, normally this wouldn't be too bad, but well, she had a young son. Who glared at me for the first 5 minutes muttering "My chair." Apparently, the only seat without his crap all over it (the one I was sitting in) was, like the other two seats, reserved for his exclusive use.
Anyway, Billy-Sue and her spawn left, I finally got in to "Mani Ralmieva's" office- and she proceeded to talk my ear off for 20 minutes about their different checking and savings account. Once I finally got it into her head that I only wanted to open a basic checking account, she turned to her computer. This would seem to indicate that I was 10 or 15 minutes from being done, right?
Wrong. After taking my LIFE HISTORY, looking at my credit report, and trying AGAIN to convince me to open a savings account (at 1% interest? Ummm, no thanks, I like my 3.25% w/ ING), she messed up and had to start the whole process over. Bee-a-utiful. Look, I'm sure it doesn't matter to you, you probably believe in reincarnation....but I'd like my account opened in THIS lifetime if that's at all possible. (sigh)
Anywho, that was accomplished, my paycheck deposited, and my check card ordered. Yippee. I now have a local bank that isn't an evil monster.
My stepsister Jane brought her son over last night for dinner. Dear god, I hate children. I realized how spoiled I've been w/ Olivia living here (my stepbrother's new baby). She's so quiet. Jane's son is a toddler, and is a holy terror. He is loud, and active, and I really really really dislike him. I'm not a big fan of baby boys in the first place (girls are much nicer, at least little ones...) and thie one is exceptionally troublesome. I had the worst headache by the time I fled upstairs. I will never, ever have children. (shudders)

Other than that, I haven't been up to much- selling some books online and working out. I love my parents new elliptical! It's great, I get a wonderful workout w/out the ache-y kicked-ass feeling I get from a treadmill.

Elija comes up on Saturday! (Have a mentioned that yet? Lol)
