It must be the Irish in me-

    Because I'm lucky.

I'm lucky to have friends who will get indignant on my behalf, tell me I'm absolutely allowed to be pissed off/upset/insulted, whatever...and then ever so subtly remind me that there's another side to the story, and the other party probably didn't mean to upset me. Not that it excuses anything!

I'm lucky to have a supportive, interesting, and caring family; a father I respect, a stepmother who has been nicer and more patient that we have any right to expect, and sisters who (though they sometimes drive me nuts) are absolute rocks- there whenever I need them.

I'm lucky to have a boyfriend four hours down the road who I'm madly in love with, feels the same way about me- and will head off the the grocery store at 9pm so he'll have the ingredients to make me chicken curry when I arrive the next day. Come to think of it, I'm pretty damn lucky to have a boyfriend who can cook chicken curry. Mmmmm.

I head down to Raliegh in 20 minutes.!
