The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
And, moving on from the silliness...I had an interview with the American Society of Clinical Oncology today. Actually, it was two interviews; one with the hiring manager and one with the head of the department I'd be working in. The first, the one w/ the hiring manager went so, so well. We spent almost an hour talking, she seemed impressed with some of the work I've been doing for equestrian collections, and she got me really excited about the organization. Then the dep't head came in, and it was like a bucket of cold water. She didn't seem to relate well to me, didn't seem to want to be there, and definately didn't ask me the right questions. And since I assume she's the person who it was more important to impress, I'm not holding my breath when it comes to this job.
I just wish I hadn't had the good interview first; it was definately a let down.
Ah well.
