It's almost time for me to jump on a plane bound for London. I can't wait! In the whole spirit of things, I've even created a "vacation template" that'll stay up for the duration of my trip, and for as long as it takes me to share all the gorey details. Along the lines of providing you with more information than you necessarily want, here is our itenerary (more or less) for the next week:
Friday: Pick up Elija from school Saturday: Leave NC early, back in VA by noon or so. Finish Packing Be at Dulles by 5:00 pm Suday: Arrive at Heathrow at 7:30 am Be met by stepbrother's driver, taken to their flat Sleep! Regents Park Sherlock Holmes Museum Monday: Changing of the Guard/Buckingham palace (11:30) Lunch St James park Westminster Cathedral Tate Briton Parliament/Westminster Hall Westminster Abbey- choral service at 5 Tuesday: Museum of London St Pauls Cathedral The Globe Tower of london Wednesday: Templar round church (after 11, not Thursday) Jazz on the south bank (royal festival hall 12:30) The National Gallery Thursday: Soane museum (opens at 10am, go early) British museum Petrie museum (1-5 pm) Friday: Leave Heathrow 11;00 am Arrive Dulles 3:00 pm
