It's been a while, huh? Sorry, I've been playing with spreadsheets at work, and that many hours staring at data on a computer screen tends to make me disinclined to spend my free time blogging. I'm still alive, I promise! I'll try to return to our normally scheduled blogging soon. A quick update: I went to Raleigh this weekend, had a lot of fun, and saw HH Guide. It was nice, though a bit too cutesy for my tastes. How do you make a comedic Sci-fi non-cutesy, you ask? Uhm...dude, I'm not a director, get off my case! Sunday we had an early birthday celebration for my Dad, which was very fun. In a funny turn of events, we all seemed to get him something fly fishing related, which I'm not sure he was completly thrilled about. I gave him AAA membership and a book called "Standing in a River, Waving a Stick," which he seemed to like, though. The traffic up 95 on the way back was absolutely terrible, but I did find a better way to go home. Er- for the half a dozen or so times I'll make the trip in the future. Ah well, better late than never. Elija is about to launch into finals, which seems altogether too soon. I'm not quite sure where the last few months have gone, but I believe the government was involved. In exactly 9 days I'll be heading back down to Raleigh, this time in the suburban, to help Elija move 90% of his stuff into storage, and then cart the rest of it back up here to my parent's. So, I guess the whole "living together" thing technically starts in a week. Wow. And no, I don't have a job lined up down there for August yet. And no, we don't have an apartment for August yet. I'm trying hard not to think of those things.
