The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
Dr Nick's back. No, actually the music is back. I found another free webhosting service which seems pretty cool- even if they do seem to be having technical difficulties in the email department. They apparently attempted to send out a mass email describing how to logon with a customer number instead of name, and instead sent everyone three emails telling us they were going to delete our accounts. Anyway... The countdown to Raleigh continues, and now we're scrambling around trying to make sure everything will be ready in three weeks when we move. We're going down on the 30th to sign the lease, give our first month's rent, do a walkthrough, and pick up keys. Then its back to work for a week, and (dum dum dum) then the big move. I can't say I'm not a little nervous, but overall I'm psyched. It'll be nice to get out of the parents house, and absolutely wonderful to to be living with Elija- for "real." Other than that...there's been a little talk of Elija studying abroad for a semester sometime in the next year or two, and me coming along with. I'd love to find a way to make that work, but the logistics seem rather difficult- I mean, it's one thing to move overseas to live for a couple years, but for a few months? finding a place to live, a job, etc seems like it would be really hard. But who knows, maybe it'll work out. Other than that, not too much new. We're about to start on the night stands, and another bookshelf, and hopefully finish them in time for the move. I suppose for the next few weeks it'll be work as usual!
