The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
My sisters got back from Georgia today, and already the house is in chaos. Ah well, so it goes. We're almost done with the nightstands, which will be excellent. the drawers go together tomorrow, and that should be the last of it...then it's on to a bookshelf, kitchen table and a couple coffee tables. I'm making an extra one for my sister as an early birthday present, and as sort of an apology for taking the white couches, which she had apparently been expecting to get. We're going to Raleigh this weekend to do a walkthrough, sign the lease, give first month's rent, pick up keys, and drop off a few peices of furniture. We'll be staying at the Raleigh Hilton, which should be great. It'll be nice to have a night away from home with Elija, I've been feeling a bit housebound lately. I guess my feet are feeling a bit itchy! When we get back from Raleigh my Dad and Stepmom will have returned from Georgia as well, and I'll work for another week before we move down to Raleigh for good. It seems to all be happening so fast...
