The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
I was at work until 6 today. I got in at 8:30. I worked through lunch, eating at my desk. I was given my first research assignment today, and promised more by the end of the week. I know I'm impressing my bosses...I just wish it could be a little easier. I'm also beginning to wish I was paid hourly.
The new lady at work (she started Monday) is annoying me. She's brash and, well, she just grates on my nerves.
I'm sure I'll get over it. One annoying person in an office of great coworkers is nothing.
I wish I had more interesting things to say; I'm too tired to form a coherent post. I guess I'll leave you with a list of goals for the next few days:
1) Ask Lauren about coming in early and taking an extra half-hour of lunch so I can go to the gym. 2) Provided she says yes, join the Y. 3) Spend some quality time with the boy. 4) Go hiking this weekend. 5) Read. 6) Play my guitar. 7) Sleep in this weekend.
