The experiences and exploits of a college grad trying to make it in the "real world:" leaving school and friends in New England, moving south, and living with her boyfriend. Watch as I pretend to be an adult.
Boston was fabulous. Crazy, silly, and chaotic but fabulous none-the-less.
I got into Amherst around midnight on Friday after a flight that I would classify as uneventful. Meaning I only had to deal with one insanely annoying man sitting in front of me instead of the usual whackjobs I find myself traveling with. After grabbing a good nine hours of sleep, Elija and I ran errands and packed before setting out. Everything was going well. We got ahold of the people we needed to reach, found our hotel with little trouble, and checked in without issue. The only available room was a Smoking room, which I have to admit sucked, but we figured we could live with it. After a quick shower and some primping, we contacted the friends we were planning to have dinner with and headed out to the T station. And got lost. Four times. The directions were entirely useless. After we finally found the station, we found the coin machine was broken, so Elija had to stand guard over our parking space while I went down the road to get change. Fabulous. We made it into town oh, maybe two hours later than we thought and weren't able to make our dinner plans, so we stoped off at an amazing Indian restaurant to eat. After our meal, we made our way to the Pour House to meet up with a fairly large crowd. Jay and some of Elija's frat brothers got to the bar shortly after we did, so we managed to go downstairs and snag a couple booths. The others trickled in after. We ended up with around twenty people- here are a few pics.
