...to slip into some of my coworker's drinks. Holy fricken' christ were people wound up today. And I have almost no idea why. All day long people were freaking out about the smallest things. It started this morning when some of the recruiters were moving offices- the phone company was calling in to switch over the extentions and somehow things got crossed so no one could figure out which extention belonged to who. Immediately the two managers started running around like chickens witht their heads cut off and the recruiters started getting super pissed because they were missing calls. After that was sorted out there was some sort of coffee crisis. Apparently an order was delayed or forgotten because of the holidays and we ran out (with a shipment not due until Thursday). This was evidently the worst problem to face humanity since the black plague. Despite the fact that I don't even drink the damn stuff I was asked at least once an hour whether I knew anything about the coffee delivery, when was the coffee delivery going to take place, why wasn't the coffee delivered last week, and OH MY GOD IS THE SKY REALLY FALLING???!?!? What the fuck? If you want some damn coffee, go out and by a can of the stuff. We have a WallMart 5 minutes down the road. This is not the end of the world. All the useless squawking really started to piss me off. There was more fluttering about over more ridiculous stuff to the point where I felt a strong urge to bash my head against my desk.
Honestly- whatever happened to not sweating the small stuff?
Oh, and I'll try to put together a new skin sometime this weekend.
