Laurie and Steve have set a date!
"I can't believe it" sounds so trite, but it's true. It's such an adult thing to do. They're actually, really and truly, seriously getting married. I mean... wow. They have a date, and a place for the reception, and ideas about wedding and bridesmaids dresses. Holy crap, in less than a year they're going "husband and wife" instead of fiancees. How scary- and how totally freakin' cool.
You guys, I am so happy for you. I can't wait to get all teary-eyed watching you exchange vows, or wrestle Karen for the bouquet (Honestly? I'd put money on Karen- I bet she fights dirty), or drink way, way too much at the bachelorette party.
10/7/07, you two. I'll be there with bells on- or at least a bridesmaid's dress.
